wait for me..

I'm still in the cartoon mood from my last post so I thought this would be very interesting.



Buzz Lightyear was on board Nasa's space shuttle Discovery STS-128 mission and was in space for 15 months! According to Nasa, "Buzz supported NASA's education outreach program by creating a series of fun educational online outreach programs."
So, it appears that this program was very successful and Disney and Nasa are collaborating for a competition involving all school kids across America to design an experiment for the astronauts to do when in space! Details will be released by Nasa on Oct. 2.

When in middle school/ early high school, I was obsessed with space! I wanted to become an astronaut or at least work for Nasa.. but obviously it cannot happen.. Anyway, I used to visit Nasa's website every single day and was sooo jealous of these student programs they had!



Isn't it just crazy to think some people have been outside Earth?
